Our Newsletter, the Mother of All

“The Mother of All” is the name of our monthly newsletter. Why is our newsletter called “The Mother-of-All”? Harry and Olive Linder were the first editors of the Guild newsletter. As spinners they named the newsletter after the part of the spinning wheel that holds everything together. On a spinning wheel the mother of all is the base that holds the maiden, flyer and bobbin assembly. The newsletter is meant to hold the Guild together.
